On his favorite childhood dish: Boiled eggs with salt on the side and toast at your fingertips. Inevitably, this makes me feel like a Saturday, when my mother was making this for me. I’m a bit nostalgic of this time.

On being bullied: I’ve been beaten up a few times, by a lot of people when I was younger, I was a bit of an idiot when I was younger. But it was always unprovoked, in my eyes, anyway. I never got beat up by school bullies. It was after school. It was generally after I started acting. And I liked to…behave like an actor! Or what I thought was an actor. Which generally provoked a lot of people into hitting me!

On growing up: Up until I was 12 my sisters used to dress me up as a girl and introduce me as ‘Claudia’! Twelve was a real turning point for me as I moved to a mixed school, and then I became cool and discovered hair gel.

On his school days: Everybody used to chuck snails at each other at school and I used to try and save them and not only did I get in trouble for it, I got suspended for doing it… It’s a big life lesson I learned: ‘Never try and do anything nice!’

Angela: The Cullens.
Jessica: They’re, um, Dr. and Mrs. Cullen’s foster kids. They moved down here from Alaska, like, a few years ago.
Angela: They kinda keep to themselves.
Jessica: Yeah ‘cause they’re all together, like TOGETHER together. Uh, the blonde girl, that’s Rosalie, and the big dark-haired guy, Emmett, they’re like a thing. I’m not even sure that’s legal.
Angela: Jess, they’re not actually related.
Jessica: Yeah, but they live together. It’s weird-and, okay, the little dark-haired girl is Alice. She’s REALLY weird, and, um, she’s with Jasper, the blonde one who looks like he’s in pain.
Jessica: That’s Edward Cullen. He’s totally gorgeous, obviously. But apparently, nobody here’s good enough for him. Like I care.

Charlie: Your hair’s longer
Bella: Hmm? I cut it since the last time I saw you.
Charlie: Oh. I guess it grew out again.

Eric : You’re Isabella Swan, the new girl. Hi, I’m Eric, the eyes and ears of this place. Anything you need, tour guide, lunch date, shoulder to cry on?
Bella : I’m really kind of the more suffer-in-silence type.
Eric : Good headline for your feature. I’m on the paper, and you’re news, baby, front page.
Bella : No, I’m not. *stutters* You… Please don’t have any sort of…
Eric : Chillax. No feature.
Bella : Okay, thanks.
Eric: Cool?

Edward: Carlisle, what’s going on?
Carlisle: Waylon Forge was found in a boat out near his place, I just examined the body.
Bella: He died? How?
Carlisle: Animal attack
Bella: Was it the same one that got that security guard down at Mason?
Carlisle: Most likely.
Bella: It must getting closer to town then…
Carlisle: Bella, you should go inside. Waylon was your father’s friend.
Bella: Okay.
Bella:(to Edward) Um, I’ll see you later.

Renee: Hey, baby. So, listen, if spring training goes well,we could be moving to Florida.
Telephone Operator: Please insert $1.25 for an additional three minutes.
Bella: Mom, where’s your cell?
Renee: Okay, don’t laugh. I didn’t lose my power cord. It ran away! Screaming. I literally repel technology now.
Bella: I miss you.
Renee: Oh, baby, I miss you too. But tell me more about your school. Now, what are the kids like? Are there any cute guys? Are they being nice to you?
